You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home with Chiropractor St Kilda. Help is on its way!
Patients often comment that from the moment they call to book in they feel that they are in caring hands.
Your first visit is going to be a positive experience. we start off getting you to fill out some paper work about what your health concerns are, this is then followed by a consultation where I (Dr Jim, Chiropractor St Kilda Region) sit down with you to discuss in detail what is going on.
The advantage of doing this is that I am able to get a sense on whether I can help you or not. If I don't think I can help you I don't want to waste your time and will refer you to the appropriate specialist. If I do think I can help you we will follow the consultation with an examination that is extremely thorough.
This examination allows me to diagnose what is happening and confirm that you will benefit from care. Patients often comment that the examination is the most thorough process they have ever had - far better and more in-depth than those done by their GP.
The examination is then followed by an x-ray referral if required. This concludes your first visit. Pain patients will be given pain relief treatment upon the first visit if appropriate.
On your report visit, Chiropractor St Kilda, explains what we found and how we may be able to help you.
A second appointment is set up for you and I to discuss the x-ray and examination findings.
Between the first and second appointment I sit down an analyse your exam results and x-ray findings.
I put all this information together so that I can present it to you on your second visit - The Report of Findings. This is important because I don't like guessing about what you need to do and want to make sure we are going to get results.
